Default N.Coast Open Seats Score 1st Steelie

This is the kind of fishing report that is fun to give...

I posted open seats last night which I occasionaly do and spent the day fishing with a couple of guys who were great company: Nick AKA: Frequent Flyer & Chris AKA: YarnDog2003

The day was great weather wise except a little blustry...

I managed to get some of those birdie drifters to good use...The tally for the day was we hooked 5 and landed 1... (All Drift Fishing)the ratio was a bit to be desired but I am very happy that the 1 was Nick's first ever MetalHead caught on a double birdie drifter with a 3" pink plastic worm

Congrat's Nick and thank you both for an enjoyable fishing outing...

Way to go KHH and Crew!!!!

Call me strange, but I enjoy watching friends and family hook and land fish as much as hooking them myself...

Nice fish Nick!

Great thing for you to do. I hope one of these days I can have time to go when someone as nice as yourself posts and open seat. My starcraft does not drift down the river so well.

I think that's great that you take newbies out and get them into fish.

Life always seems to find a way to reward generous people like yourself.

KHH great job on teaching some newbies how to fish. Now they will be hooked for life, and I'm sure the hook up to land ratio will improve in time.

Wow, what an unbeleivable time I had today. Got to reel in my first of hopefully many steelhead. I just got done sucking down a big fillet hot of the grill and boy was it tasty. mmm mmm. Nothing like fresh fish. But catchin a fish was just the side story. The real story here is KHH having the patience to deal with a true rookie. KHH thanks for the opportunity to go out today. The observing and learning was more tham enough for me ... but my first Steelie is sure nice too. Chris we got to get together again too. and if not hopefully I'll see you out there. Thanks again Terry, cant wait to do it again sometime.

Nick,

It was my pleasure and your welcome anytime...

You were really setting the hook like a pro by the end of the day and I am proud to be part of your first MetalHead catching experience...

Don't forget, you do owe me one thing and that is entry into the Fantasy Football thing next season...

Take Care & stay in touch...

Nice job boys! And Nick was wondering last night what he was getting himself into! Now he knows!

KFF ,we didn't do so bad on the Trask. No wishin brought home a hacthery buck and released three Nates. I got a hatchery hen and released two nates, the bigger of the two going near 20#. Wow!
Those rainbow birdies we scored yesterday appear to have been the hot ticket for you as well as us.
Nice job Terry!
