Would you go Clamming tonight??

Per my Tillamook Tide book there is a -1.8 at 6:45 pm tonight. BUT, there is a Storm coming in. Is is worth the drive down for clams tonight?


Am I right about the time & level? What's the closest place to Oregon City to go. I've Clammed Seaside and Ft. Stevens. What's the adjustment up the coast from Tillamook Tides.

Thank you for any info. Need ASAP as I would like to hit the road by 1:30 if I'm gonna go.

What type of critter are you after?

We razor'd last weekend in Gearhart (see salty dogs thread)
Razors closed south of Seaside and watch the
waves, they are really sneaky this time of year.

Raked two limits of cockles both Saturday and Sunday evenings at the old Coast Guard Boat House location in Garibaldi. Raking time, 25 to 30 minutes.

As the tides are quite late now, you will need a lantern.

We went razor clamming monday night at gearheart. We got No clams!!! Zip!!! Zero!!! No Joke, 1st time i've ever been skunked. Started at del Ray and went 3 miles north.
