Columbia river open/closure status

Is there a daily updated web site that I check to see what's open on the Columbia for Springer fishing?
Unfortunately, I have a pinched nerve (C7) and can't drive due to drug intake. Therefore I envy those of you having fun on the Columbia. Fortunately, my father is still coming out from Colorado to go fishing, in which he'll be using my boat. I just want him to be informed and not be fishing where it may be closed that day or whatever. The best info. I have to date is by calling the ODWF daily. Is there any better/faster ways?
Thanks in advance and catch one of those springers for me.

That would be nice, but even better it would be nice to know before tuesday evening if we can fish wednesday!

It would also be nice if they would switch the days we could fish around once in a while.

It seems like every single time they make a restriction, it's always wed-sat.

Guess who has sun-mon-tue off? :grin:

Oregon and Washinton are scheduled to have another meeting Tuesday 4/22/03 to determine if they will leave it open. Check this borad tomorrow afternoon someone always post the results. Keep your fingers crossed that they leave it open.

Yesterday (Sunday) I discussed this with the ODFW fish-checker.

While acknowledging Tuesday's meeting, it was her belief that she would be on-duty through at least this week's Columbia fishery - April 9 thru 12.

If she's correct, there's at least four more days on the Columbia and maybe more.

Sure hope she's right.
