More Color Questions

I did a post on Hook color and understand that color is not an issue.But I was woundering if color washes out in a few feet of water why do corkies and jigs seem to have colors that work better than others. Im not tring to be dense but I find this interesting.

Some colors do "wash out" as you go lower into the water collumn. But florecent colors gather light and keep their color.
