YaHoo -The Springer skunk is off!!

Hit the ol' Willamette at 0:dark:30 Sunday with talk2elk and fished between OC and Milw. Now my boat has had plenty of Steelie's in it this year including 1 last Sunday while fishing for Salmon in the Willi. (We got the only fish between 3 boats and we won the $ for biggest fish with an 8# steelie...ha!)

Anyway about 8:30 we were trolling downriver to get back to where we actually wanted to troll and talk2elk says FISHON!! a nice little fight for a nice LITTLE fish and bonk we have the first springer of the day and the first in my boat this year! (Good for a couple of bucks for 1st fish) between three boats again.

Feelin' pretty good about life and decided to try trolling some herring downriver and about 10, T2E was driving and says "What's wrong with your pole?" YaHOO...Fishon! 17# Spinger with no flags flying...bonk, my first springer of the year!!! (and $ for biggest of the day too).

Had a nice BBQ last nite....UMMM UMMMM spring chinook ... my Fav! :grin:

Tite lines all. Look's like it's Sunrise Service on the River for this Boy on Easter!!!
