Default what kind of float to use???

what kind of float do you use when jid fishing for steelhead?

spare link,
lots and lots of bobber/float info these past 2 weeks. hit the search button and type in floats or bobbers. Also check archives for this time last year..tons and tons of good info to find. that said...cork for fixed, west coast floats for sliding. Thats for steelies right? check first cast jigs site on ifish. some kits and helpful pics in his site.
