Default Clackamas Report Dec. 20

Caught and released 6 summer runs on bobber and jigs (thanks to tutoring by William) this afternoon. No one else that I talked to caught any winters today, either.

Well, these were mostly thin and slightly reddish. The largest one, about 10 lbs. had a distinctive red stripe. All very pretty fish, but Im waiting for the winter runs - more chrome, hopefully.

They're here!

Fished the Clack Sat. and Sun a.m. Saw three caught Saturday (two on spinners by the same guy) and one released on Sunday. Lots of people and there are a few fish moving in. The fish I saw were all chromers.

Hit the clack Sunday afternoon for 3 hrs of hard fishing from the boat. Water color good but not perfect. Fished riverside up and backtrolled hotntot and shrimp with no bites. Talked to one feller who had been there since the morning and had landed one nate and one hatch, all winters. They are there and it will only get better as time goes on.
