springtime safety

well, it's coming around to that time again. the sun is coming out and it's starting to get warm. this time of year usually brings out folks who show a lack of good judgement with respect to the water. let's try to get the word out early and see if we can keep the numbers low this year.

it won't be long before folks head to high rocks to swim only to find that even though it's nice and hot out, the river is still REALLY cold! soon, we'll have all manner of inappropriate water craft showing up in places or conditions they shouldn't be. no need to preach to folks. just remind them of the stories we heard about last year. tell your kids and tell them to tell their friends.

maybe if we get the word out early, we can cut down on the number of stories we hear about on the evening news this spring.
