Ok so you want a story here goes
Good morning to all of you that aren`t lucky enough to be out fishing, like myself. I have lived and fished in the area for 34 years. I have a 7 soon to 8 year old girl that loves to fish too. The problem is with me working and her in school we don`t get to do much of it. She did get her first salmon in the salt this year. Then figured out how to do and became quite the fisherperson. She almost filled her tag on coho and a couple small kings. Not bad for her first try. I myself love to fish every chance I get. I spend most of my time on the water somewhere, when I`m not working. My wife has even thought I was growing scales a time or two, maybe I just didn`t wash my hands, I don`t know.At any rate my favorite fish to catch is steelhead followed a close second by ocean fishing. My favorite river is the Siletz followed by the Alsea. I have been fishing these rivers for the last 25 years. I more then likely seen and talked to alot of you on the river or at the boat ramp in South Beach. I have a sky blue Santiam drifter, not to many on the river. I also own a 20 foot Bayliner Trophy. This year I am getting into jig fishing for steelhead and am really looking forward to learning this new way for me. I just got an order of first cast jigs and can`t wait to try them. I got pink and white and fuchsia and pink to start with, hope they are the right colors. I just need to leave the eggs and shrimp and all that other good stuff at home and just fish with the jigs so I can give it a real chance. So there you go, there is alittle about me. I`m glad to be here and am looking forward to talking to every body and learning some new stuff from all you guys and gals. Merry Chistmas and good fishing. Crazy Fisherman
