The Browning rep just left me a message to let me know he will have one of the Brand new A-5's at the event to touch, look at and shoot. Another local company has come on board to help as well LaCrosse/Danner is in for this year. Hope to see you guys there.

How does this compare to the waterfowl festival? It was my first year going this summer, and I was just wondering how this was different. Smaller? More intimate seminar?

Definitely much more intimate, usually have have about 150 people attend, doing the seminar outdoors this year with life like hunting situations. After the seminar most the staff guys will be available for one on one discussions. Usually everyone that attends goes home with something from the sponsors, all proceeds from the event goes to the local DU chapter and best of all it's FREE!!

Looking forward to coming up and using the Pattern Master booth. If you are like me, the first weekend of hunting let me know I need to pattern my new Browning.

I'm going to bring my "new" old A-5 that I just redid for the Browning guys to look at. I think they'll like it.

I told my 19 yr old son about this and he went. Said it was a fun time and he learned some things. Said he even won a box of shells from heavy shot. Anyone meet a tall skinny brown haired kid who looked lost

Call my friend and dragged him over - boy we had a great time. He won a DU knife and we were able to talk to some really great hunters and then to top it off they raffled off some great prizes - gerber knifes, calls, heavy shot - it was alot of fun and education for everyone and my hats off to you guys for putting on a super fun time. As we were leaving he turned to me and said - damn those boys are serious duck hunters and they really know their stuff! Good Job!

Just wanted to post a shout out to Mario and all the Prostaff guys. The event was well attended and like mentioned above, well sponsored. I enjoyed shooting the new Browning A5 although it swings a little fast for me. I wish I had remembered to bring my Beretta Optima so I could have taken advantage of the Pattern-master choke patterning booth - maybe next year...

Anyway it was a fun event like usual, informative and full of familiar faces

I had a good time. Did anyone get the contact information for the people running the Hevi Shot patterning station?

Thanks.

Yeah I believe Kelly & crew from Hevi-Shot (Evironmetal) was running it.
Google them and pop them a message. If that doesn't work, PM "Mario".

I too would like to say thanks to Mario and the Guys for a good time.
Can't say I shot that new A5 very well though.
