"All I want for Christmas is a picture with a steelhead." Well, after 6 trips to various coastal streams and help from MANY ifish members, Santa finally granted my wish with a nice hen!!!

I got to the Guide Shop at 2pm today and a few minutes later, the fight was on...I was drifting a red corkie with eggs. BTW, the eggs were given to me by KodiakFisher...thank you! After all was said and done, I couldn't believe how warm the Wilson River was or maybe it was all the adrineline going through my body.

Again, thanks to ALL ifish members for helping me land my first steelhead!

Otolith, you're right. Those eggs weren't looking because they were in the cooler. :smile: I only have 1 package left and I don't know what I'm gonna do when they run out.

Good job on the fish, I am still chanting the same thing..."All I want for christmas is...."

I think it will come true pretty soon, we might be moving to Alaska so that will be cool. I will be hooking fish almost every time I go.
