Deschutes Open????????

Well we are just sitten around wateing for the Deschutes to open.

Has anyone heard if it's going to open on the first4/1/03 or are they going to make us wate untell 4/15/03??????

Anyone know ????????

I think the Deschutes is open from Maupin downstream. I could be wrong, but I fished there last week and saw quite a few other fly fishers.

Sorry man,

From Pelton Dam thru the reservation, closed until 4/26!!! Suggest you find some open water down stream. That is too long to wait. I'll be there Friday, I'll let you know how it goes.

My buddy went there today below Maupin. He said he fished all day with no luck.

Lower Deschuttes is open year round.
