I use K14-16 for springers. K15's getting most of the action. I change my hooks to Owner trebles on a barrel swivel.

Use smaller Flatfish for the Steelies.

Good luck

Wow, thanks Jett'in Fool. The pic is great. I've heard it explained before, but just couldn't see it. XSive

I use k-14's and sometimes a k-15 for springer fishing. For fall fishing, I use exclusively k-14's.

Default Kwick Fish Size

What size kwick fish do you all recomend for steel heads, and for springers??
Also, do you feel that the change of hook size on the back should be biger??
I see that some fisherman put a swivel off the rear of the plug and than a hook.
Any help would be nice, and THANKS AGAIN,
Tight Lines. ..N/B..

Ive been told to use k-15 for springers, and change the hooks to owner #1. Never tried putting swivel on rear hook.

K-15's in big water (cr), smaller sizes in smaller water, that's my theory! I replaced the factory hooks with a barrell swivel and siwash hooks. I'm going to take off the siwash and use treble hooks. I believe the siwash rotates with the barrel swivel thus not sticking in the fish. An experiment that went bad :depressed:
