Christmas Steelheads! -
1) Christmas HoHo's. For those who are looking for some fresh late coho action, the last big storm brought in a late flush of "B strain" fish. Cant tell you where, but it isnt a secret river. I would guess most of the rivers that usually get late strain coho may have had some fresh fish come in.
This pic from last Sunday (12/14).
2) Metro Steel - some fishable numbers of fish in the metro area now. Sandy, Clackamas, Lewis, Eagle Creek, Salmon Creek, Meldrum bar, Tualatin, etc... You stand a good chance of catching a fish, hint - dont get stuck on thinking too low in the river system(s).
This pic from yesterday afternoon someplace here local.

Re: Christmas Steelheads! -
Nice hat!
Are you still claiming that someone else has to row so you have front seat all day?
Is lifting those fish part of the therapy?
Good job! Keep "training" for that 100# Ahi in February

Re: Christmas Steelheads! -
12/26 Fish are starting to show a little more color (nothing real ocean brite), but nothing to complain about. Still lots around... 5 for 6 in a couple hours this AM. Home by Noon! Fished pink on pink jigs exclusivly the last couple trips.
