Please, you really think I'm going to buy that. Texas Rig is right here also and thinks Kieth is trying his hardest not to carry that ugly baton I can't believe C&E would even post that nonsence Must see picture and this time make sure you are holding a paper from today

Hi C&E
I'm with fishin Eddie on this one. I want to see pictures too. I also spoke to them when they were on the water but I have heard great tails other times. You know how the fishin stories grow. I want pictures!!

Re: Live update from FM2
I just emailed the pics to Keith. No baton for FM2 this year. It was way slow. Game Cops said possibly one other fish for 29 boats.

Well guys, I'm Impressed.
Congrats on your first Springer FM2.
Lipriper, That fish looks a little lite. Looks like your only holding half a fish there.
Great looking fish guys. Another fine day on the river!!

Live update from FM2
FM2 (Keith) put a 29lb chromer in the boat around 11:15am. This after 2 other cracker attempts at other fish. Word is SLOW for the other boats around today. Congrats Keith!
Hopefully Keith will post a picture and brag a little, ok, a lot about the epic battle.

Re: Live update from FM2
Yhea, Yhea, Yhea, What happen to the paper with the fish? Pat I can't believe you let Kieth lead you astray  I've fished with Kieth and caught and Kieth are not in the same sentence.
I look forward to getting out there myself. I guess that leaves fishrite as the next to be baton holder

Re: Live update from FM2
What's that old saying, "even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while" or something like that!
You definately have to be on the ball around Pat when those rods goes off don't be in his way otherwise you become traction
Now where has fishingeddie and texas rig been hiding, they seem to have a case of notypeitis!!
Good seeing fishalot out there too! How much did you say that baton weighed Dylan?

Re: Live update from FM2
Keith I don't know why you think you are out of the running for the baton? I don't think you know how it works and I am now going to tell you.
Last year I had 4 Springers to my name and the baton was handed to me, so it is not that you have caught one that keeps it away from you. When I catch my first one you are safe safe for now, when I catch the secound Springer if you still have one I can and will give it to you  . Last year you had not one Springers to your name when I was handed the baton so it could and should have been yours. Now go look for a job and stay off the river .
Good to see you the other day, keep the Faith.

Re: Live update from FM2
Great job boys! Impressive fish Keith. How much did the tribes charge ya for that one?
Just one question. Did Pat dive for your rod when it went off or did you just beat him down with the wood shampoo?
Pat, I'm glad you finally showed Keith how to really fish. It is about time he learned something.
Thanks for the reports yesterday. It made work very difficult.

Bernie, Keith is getting smarter or more clever  . He now stands between me and the rods. Actually he was standing right near his rod when it went off/down. Gonna do it again Friday. Look out fishies

Re: Live update from FM2
Whoa! hold on there fishalot, what you are quoting is "last years" section of the rule book and I just looked at the calendar and it says 2003  Sooo, you will need to submit your rule change to the baton council for review but when it comes my way I will "veto" it unless you can provide scientific and physical evidence to support any change you are proposing

Re: Live update from FM2
I am the Baton council my friend  I have the power to veto your veto. I have the baton and position is 9/10 of the law so you or any other person has no authority over my selection. I have found on page 156 section F, this section is titled ( Who is eligible for baton hand off ) The only thing that was printed in large Red lettering in Section F was KEITH AKA FM2 is the most worthy person to pass the baton to in the year 2002.
With that made clear I hope to see you soon

Re: Live update from FM2
He took the bait just like a hungry Springer hitting a K-Fish  Now that stated you rest your case   ,you should have fisrt looked at this years Baton Rule Book. The first page clearly states there has been no new Information,Laws,or rules incorporated into the 2003 addition of the baton rule book.
Well there you have it the 2002 rules stand firm in the 2003
(You the man FM2)

Re: Live update from FM2
Now, Now, Now, dear brother fishalot, I realize that baton is probably 200' long and weights a ton but is that any attitude to have... If I was in your shoes you may want to contact a couple of other's on the list.....hummm,...let's see....yeah, it's fishingeddie, fishrite, texas rig, and mojet who's has done his Copperfield disappearing impression
So good friend and reigning springer baton holder I feel for ya and understand the pressure your under but if you watch more episodes of fishing with Shelly and Courtney you will see what a springer looks like
