This is just a useful tip some of you could use in preparation for accumulating shad for crab bait.
Where the Oregonian newspaper is delivered into boxes, on rainy days, is packaged in a thin plastic bag, which I have found works great for sliding the shad into before freezing. :grin:
Once frozen, allows for Easy separation and you can take as many as you think you'll need without thawing the whole lot to separate. :smile:
So, save those plastic bags and re-use, better than just throwing away.
