Default beaded or not beaded that is the ?

with so many people out there fishing jigs I just thought I would ask what some of you prefer for winters and summer jigs. For winters I use more beaded than un beaded and for summers I only use the un beaded jigs. I like the exra body in the winter which I think leads to more strikes and in the summer I like the free motion of the feather un restricted by the beaded body. Has anyone tried a jig with just 1 bead rather then 2 ???

I have found that beaded jigs tend to work better for me in the winter than in the summer.

I have caught hundreds of steelhead both winters and summers over the last 6 years on jigs and can tell you it doesn't matter what type beaded or not. From the Skagit in Northern wash to the millacoma in southern oregon. It is all about speed of presentation, color, depth and line weight used.

Good luck,

Buckgtr
