Default Grand Ronde anyone??

Myself and about 5 buddies are heading back to the Ronde at Boggan's Crossing between X-mas and New Year's...just wondering if anyone has been over there lately.

We'll have two driftboats, so we'll plug, jig, drift, etc.

Thanks in advance!!

Rola-

My Ronde source (guide out of Lewiston) has said the fishing has been good in the area you're talking about. He uses just corkies and yarn and absolutely slays them. I also heard that eggs and shrimp are doing good also.

Do you have exact dates you are going to be there? A buddy and I will be down there some time between the 28th and 31st.

Jeffroe,

We'll be fishing on the 28th and 29th, and staying both those nights at Boggan's Crossing in one of their rental houses. This is only our second trip, but we did quite well our first time.

I'll be in a lifted pewter Chev 2500HD with a blue aluminum Hyde. If you see us, shout out!!

If we're not on the river, we'll either be in our house or at the restaurant.

Thanks for the info

A couple of weeks ago (12/11 thru 12/14) the water was 1200 to 1500 cfs and 38 degrees. Went 9 for 12 in three and a half days of fishing. Biggest was a 29 inch hatchery hen. Jigs, spinners and corky and yarn combos. Fish counter guy said fishing overall was slow. On Friday, he had checked only one other fish besides the ones I had caught. It was snowing hard when I left Sunday around noon. All my fish were caught in Oregon. Washington isn't very generous to me ..... Good Luck
