Help! What kind/ color jigs do you prefer?
Hey Ya all, Just getting going on the bobber jig thing for winters... (I know, I know I'm a late bloomer) any advice would be greatly appreciated. What is your favorite color for winters in normal to lower flow levels? Any other hints? Thanks for the help!
Billy

Pink and/or white is a perennial favorite. I also like fuchsia too. Purple/cerise has been good to me also. Red is another producer in clear water. Lots of new flavors that have been working too. It's all good.

I have always been to afraid to try anything except pink/white and now that I have my first cast jigs, I can't wait for tomorrow.

There are about a dozen color patterns that will consistently produce. Pink/white is just one of the ol' standby colors.
My personal favorite is an 1/8 oz bead-bodied cerise jig.

Pink Pearl, I don't think there is a river around that this color won't catch steelies on. Also, don't be afraid to try the dark colors. I have had suprisingly good luck on black and purple. If you think about it, all of the flea flickers swear by these colors so they must be okay!

Pink, White, Red, Black by themselves or mixed colors.

Just say "Pink and White" five times really fast.
That should answer your question......
