Re: Fishermans???
I was in Fishermans (Ore City store) last night they have some great sales going. Bought my sweet wife a few lures as stocking stuffers and also picked up a killer tackle box 1/2 off.
I asked the manager about a website and he said it was in the works.
Have a great evening all.

Re: Fishermans???
Speaking of that sale at FMS...If you are looking for a cheaper (cost) but better quality spinning reel they have the Okuma Avengers there for $26.88 or something like that. Bought a couple of the AV30's for extras. At that price they are almost throwaways but they seem to be pretty good quality...We'll see in a year.

Re: Fishermans???
It would be nice if they just posted scans of their ads...that way those folks that don't get their inserts would be able to see what kind of deals their mssing out on.

Re: Fishermans???
I went to the thankgiving sale and asked one of the guys when you gonna get a web page? I told him not everyone lives in the city and your kinda out of the way, it would be nice to know when there is a good sale on.
He told we "were working on it, probably be done in a year or two". I told him that is what they told me the last time I was there and asked that. He asked, how long ago was that? I told him about a year or two ago. The man laughed and said as many people that asked about a web page you would think it beneficial for us to have one. All I could do was agree.

Re: Fishermans???
I find it hard to believe that in this day and age that they don't have a website, look at all the business they are missing out on.....instead, those of us who don't live close by have to order stuff online thru cabelas. Maybe they should open a store here in Boise, Idaho?????????
I would be their number one customer.

Re: Fishermans???
Speaking of Fishermans, That deal on the Plano Tackle Box at 50% off was so good I went back last night after work and bought another one!

OFF TO WORK to pay for all these darn tackle boxes and the tackle that goes in them.
TGIF!

Re: Fishermans???
We picked up 2 of the Okuma Metaloid MD-30's a few days ago and they are also on sale - down from $79 to $58. I didn't see this one in their ad.

Re: Fishermans???
Their "sales" still aren't nearly as good as they were for the first few years after they opened the OC store. I was hoping to see them be a little more aggressive with this after Sportsman's opened. However, I have seen their ads come out more frequently anyway.
One thing I bought from them recently was the backpackers ground blind - used it on Wed...I love the thing - regularly $45 on sale for $30!! Best $30 on a blind I've ever spent.
