Default Gilbert Boat Ramp

The one on Sauvies along the Channel. Is there a launch fee or parking permit required?

Thanks.

It is free as I recall. You will need the parking permit for the island, which will be a few bucks for the season.

No fee, but the ODFW area parking permit is required.

yep, you can get them at ODFW *** or they are sold at the Cracker barrel just over the Sauvies bridge.

Dont forget the pass - they do check and give tickets consistently. Also, If you are going early and dont have it in advance - there is not place to buy it on the island until the cracker barrell opens up (7-8am i think).

You can also get the permits at 7-11 in Linnton, which is open 24/7, unlike the Cracker Barrel.
