Default Fear no Fish is like the energizer bunnyl

I had the pleasure of sharing some water with Fear No Fish today. I even got a snap shot of him when I went by and said hi.

He did as well as we did, every boat I saw (except 2 boats) did as well as we did :depressed: . Pretty slow day. I know why Fear No Fish catches so many fish, he never quits. We were one of the last boats on the water, and guess who was the last boat in sight on the water after we pulled out? God I hope he knows this isnt like McNary Dam where you can fish all night long   You can see him out there all alone making "just one more pass"

We also fished along side fear no fish. It was nice to meet you out there. Fishing was pretty slow all and all. We did manage to hook up with two, onw a #21 pound hatchery and the other was probally wild cuz he broke off in an anchor rope. We felt fortunate to have some action besides the rain drops falling on our heads.

Fear No - had no idea that was you out there... we were next to you a few times... bait-o must have been around you too....

We ended up with one big nate (23ish) to the boat ... only saw one other fish on ... we headed home around 2pm...

We were in the white NR outboard.

I was going to wait for BOE and/or FNF to answer the question, but since they must be back out there again today, here is the answer.

'Taint no secret, that last shot was taken from the N. Bonneville boat launch area. To get there you head up Hwy 14 past the town of N. Bonneville. When you get to the power lines turn right and follow the signs to the ramp. There is a great deal of bank access in that area, BTW, but it WA waters so you need a WA license if you fish from the shore. Either tag will work from a boat of course.

reeldick and I were out there yesterday too. That must be Buzz Guidewire with FNF and the other angler is Fishing is Life. We were trading phone calls as we fished up and down from the deadline to The Fishery. Like them, we got nothing to the boat.

In fact, we were parked next to Talons when they caught the one and lost the other. (Yes, that was me, talons!) Their two chances and two others were about all we saw for the entire day.

reeldick did have a couple of good taps, but not takes, on a parked quickie. Considering we had seen Talons reel up about a 6 pound ********* a little while before makes me suspect it wasn't a salmon. But that was the extent of our excitement.

Woulda, shoulda, coulda, today but instead played Racquetball, went to brunch and generally domesticated around the homefront.

Redbull, reel, Dick I, why didn't we go?

Oh, and dampainter, you can do it just fine on a day like yesterday when it was unusually calm. If there are 25 knot west winds, like were forecasted for today (part of the reason we didn't go back), you would not want to be there.

It is very swift and get get really rough. You wouldn't want to wander too far down probably in that boat or you would be in for a long trip back...

good to see all the ifish crews out there. nice photos Bait o Eggs. unfortunately Fear No Fish Steve, does not have interent access right now as he is staying at Buzz's place. i will let him know so he can see later. you will see alot of him the next three weeks on the river as he is on leave and will be pounding the water. you are right he is like the energizer bunny when it comes to fishing. he will be wrapping kwikies till midnight the night before a trip. if it had not been so slow on Sat we would have fished till legal close. one of the most hardcore fisherpeople i have ever met.
