Default Halibut Collars

I got my first Halibut collars the other day. How do you cook them ? Do you trim the meat out, or cook the whole collar on the bbq ? Just wondering how you guys do them.

I have never fixed them... BUT I have had them at sushi resturants... I asked exactly how they are made and she said all they go is drop them in the deep fryer till golden brown... same with the salmon collars...

....foil packet on the BBQ with garlic salt, lemon pepper, black pepper, and butter cooked until the meat flakes off. Foil keeps it from getting too dry.
