Default Another Wilson Question

I was planning on drifting the wilson tomorrow but with it rising like it is I'm not sure. I've have never fish it above 6.5ft and I guess I'm wondering if it would be worth my time or should I go fish 3-rivers.

Also this is the first year for me fishing out of a DB so there are some things that I pay attention to now that I didn't before. Like if I want to drift and then see that the river is blown I'm kinda hosed as far as banking it as a backup plan cuz of the oars and such.. If banking it I'd go have breakfast at either The Locomotion or stop at the casino.

Thanks for the input

I've got the same problem when I take my boat over there. The only thing I could recommend is parking near the launch by the guide shop where you could still see your boat and fish that a bit. Also, if the upper river is fishable there's some pull-outs where you could fish and still keep an eye on your boat. Mile marker 25 comes to mind.

I don't have experience on any of the other rivers close by.

Good luck!

It will be on the high side but should be fishable.....if not the kilchis or trask are only 15 minutes away and may also fish. If you dont go you wont know...........
