She continued to spool us for about 34 hours followed by a assisted netting (c-section), but here she is with all her spunk and beauty! 5 looooong days in the hospital and we are on our way home!!! Welcome Abigail Paige!!

Holy Cow 38 hours! 38 Hours?!... My wife and I had a similar one going 24 hours (you have us beat) 3 hours pushing... only to end up like you with a c-section. I don't envy you that. But the results were worth it... healthy baby, healthy mom.... you are blessed .... then one day you will look up and she will be 3 years old and wearing her gorilla costume and frog boots to get the christmas tree..... picture

Thank you all for the kind words and similar experience stories!! My wife laughed and cried (they do that a lot after the delivery!!) at all of your replies. Thank goodness for a support network (My mom is 35 year retired Labor and Delivery nurse, and is staying with us to help out), after the nights of sleeping on the couch in the birthing suite at SW WA Med Cntr, I got a nasty cold, but I'd do it all over again. What an amazing experience! I can't wait get her into her first fish.
