don't worry about rain or debris in hammond,
just the commercial pots. Some say they are still getting limits, it just takes longer.

Default To Crab this weekend: Nehalem or Hammond?

My bother-in-law and I are thinkin about crabbing this weekend then possbile fish afterward on the Necanicum. Which do you think would be better, Hammond or Nehalem Bay? Is there too much debris in the water from all this rain to make crabbin poor?

Thanks for your advise!!

John

I was thinking about the same thing only it was either Nehalem, Tillamook or Neatarts.

Thanks for the info.

The tides are not good this weekend. For Hammond you are looking at at a high tide of around 9:30pm.

Low tide won't be until about 4:30pm.

First light would be your best bet to catch any incoming tide.
