Re: There comming
I have had it so bad I have actually spent a few hours on the water. These trips are kind of like a nicotene patch, just enough to relieve the shakes and nervousness from chinook withdrawl.

Re: There comming
Seems like every time the water was clearing up, I'd be at work. Then it would get blown out again, and I'd have a few days off. Can't seem to get it right. My ducks have been in a row since late January- boat, motor, and trailer tuned, lubed & gassed up, rods rigged, herring in freezer, tackle boxes organized, etc etc.
If the Willamette doesn't clear soon I'm gonna have to go hit the lower CR.
Hey, I just noticed I made Chinook 16 posts ago! Party on, Garth!

Re: There comming
Sturgeon fishing being as good as it's been, I'd have an Alvin or Kwikfish dropper on my line to improve my odds of actually catching something.
BTW, BOE, the shaking just gets worse and the fever goes up after you hook one them, based on my own recent experience. If I were you, I'd go back to the shop for another month or two.

Re: There comming
Steve,
I can't even get to work on time!!! Here it is 1:30 and I just made it to the office...
okay you'd think I spent the morning on the river right, NOT! Started the day with good intentions, after picking up my morning coffee I thought I'd check out Meldrum Bar and enjoy the morning, nothing there (just watching) so on to work? Nope let's drive-up the Clack and see what's going on. Up to Carver (just watching) fish-on for a Willie boat at the wall (trout=steelhead) Okay time to go to work? Nope go to the Coffee hole and visit a new fishing friend and throw a couple casts off his dock, bobber and jig.....nothing. So here I sit infront of my computer reading about fishing! Didn't take the day off to fish because I'm to busy? man that made sense
Man I should just get in the boat and waste my time there!
Still trying to find that place in Pacific City! Maybe I'll waste a few more hours on the computer looking for Real Estate? Wouldn't want to get to much done at the office you know!

Re: There comming
ya ya ya, I would serve it with taters......... and some grilled peppers (red, yellow & Green) and some onions.
Go ahead , take your shots....... I got thick skin. Well see who is trotting around in the tall grass with the big dogs when late June gets here and we do a tally of big bright springers landed.......... OR we could just count those over 30 lbs........ spell that will ya 3 0 thirdy pounds............

There comming
The springers are comming, the springers are comming............ Some are even here
I don't know about everybody else, but I'm getting antsey..... Haven't fished since Mid November, just been working. Haven't even been in the drift boat I bought half of, although Fishin Magician has been wearing it out from what I hear.
My ducks are getting lined up, pouring lead next week, whashing my quickies and counting my jars of eggs..... Soon, very soon..... Some Ifish members, wont say who so I don't get accused of picking on Pete have even been catching a few.
Anybody else that is not a big steelhead (wont say slimerocket) fisherman getting as antsey as I am?
