Default Pre-tied Sturgeon leaders?

Size 6/0 or 7/0 barbless VMC, about what do they cost each or for a pack of 2? I could go shop around more and find out but I thought I would ask here first being there are so many Sturgeon fishers around.

I also much prefer to tie my own over the pre-tied, gives you much more flexability and confidence they will hold....

I definately understand tieing your own as thats what I did when I was into sturgoen fishing more a few years back. I havent fished for them in about 3 years now and I ran across a really good deal on these hooks. Thats the reason for this thread. Im not wanting to buy anymore or anything, just curious as to how much money I saved. I may have gotten too many as I dont think Im going to fish for them enough to need over 200 hooks. Im just a sucker for a good deal.

From what I have been told these hooks sell for $1 to $1.50 a hook in stores. Like $3 for a pack of 2.

I tie my own and use them for 7-10 trips apiece. The tip of the hook basically had to become un-resharpable (new word  ) before I'd re-tie. Sounds like you have enough for 25 years....

Go to Sportsmans Warehouse or Dereks Barbershop in Jefferson and pick up a few of Sy's Jigs and Flies Sturgeon leaders with the scent bubble on them. They cost alittle more but they work great. Just open the bubble and put some Sturgeon Feast or your Favorite scent in it and it slowly releases from the bubble. You can add alittle cotton in the bubble to if you want the scent to hold longer. I think there about $2.50 ea.
