Default N Alsea - Clemmens Park Area

Anyone head out there this afternoon? How did it look?

Thinking about giving it a shot in the morning.

Went and looked at the North Fork today near the hatchery, mainly to see how many fish were in there. Water was a greener than steelhead green, but still good color. Just a bit higher than I like it, but it is fishable. Unless a creek or a slide browned the river below the bridge, the river should fish just fine. Only one car at the bridge when we went by, but about a dozen at the hatchery. Talked to one guy who said he'd heard of a few being caught.
Hope you get some chrome tomorrow!

We fished Clemens this afternoon. We saw one fish being taken to the parking lot as we arrived. I'm sure it was only 19.5 inches long!

Fished just about every spot between the vault and 1/4 below Seely over five hours using jigs, roe, shrimp, plastics, corkies and yarn and still 0/0.

Course I didn't see one other fish on anyones line. At this point I'm ready to sit on the bank and watch an accomplished Alsea Steelheader. Just can't seem to find any of them either.
