i am a woman fisher, i fish every single wednesday, rain or shine with my hubby. he on the otherhand fishes every waking moment. no, we don't live near a great fishing place, it's a 65 mile drive each way, he goes sometimes 4 times a week. man, the car will not last!!!

good luck finding a female fishing companion. i have yet to run into another woman bank fishing, and i've been going every week since august. not one.

Dave, your Alaska saying is great. I lived there for awhile, the Talkeetna festival brings in women from all over the world to meet the guys that come out of the woods for a few weeks a year. Many are a little odd.

I am maried, and every once in a while I make a trip to the Wilson, and on one trip 2 years ago I ran into a lady who has red hair and a real nice smile and offered her a cup of coffee, on the bank, I was taken a break, and said a friendly hello, and offered, Now who do we know who fits this bill------------JENNI.

This was strange for me as I drove 4 hours in the middle of the night just to fish the wilson, and run into the person who put this site together, THANKS JENNI.

Fishing with guys isn't all it's cracked up to be. Every time I fish with Bill, if I get a bite, he casts over me to that spot. If he misses it too, then "I sore mouthed all the fish in the hole." If he gets it and lands it, "It was his fish in the first place." :depressed: No fair!

Ihave no problems with my other half when we fish together, the only thing he does is come next to me and fish, but never fishes over me or anything. He actually gets excited when I catch fish. :grin:

Well, I'm another gal that loves to fish and does just that when ever I can. No problem with the other half
getting in my way. In fact there have been times when he will not fish and just drive the boat so I can have a better chance to 'get' that fish. Living on east side and being pretty tied down here don't get much chance to sample other waters but would enjoy an email from other fishing ladies too. Possibility of a future Ladies fish....

My wife just happens to be a woman. :grin: I talked her into going gator fishing with me last Friday. It was her first time. We put two keepers in the boat in a half hour. Now she wonders why I spend all day out there, if it's that easy. I think I'll "invite" her to ride along in next year's derby.

I'm a female fisherwoman. I went out today with two of my female fisherwomen friends.

The problem with women fishing together is that the men out on the river get really defensive and think that two women fishing together means they are Gay. I'm not gay, I just love to fish and I have girl friends who also think fishing is a great sport. I have a totaled of 4 other girls that love to fish.

What would the men think if we women thought that they like to fish that they are Gay. They are always together on the river, what else do they do? MEN, You can't live with them and you can't shoot them.

I would fish with you, but as you can see I'm pretty busy fishing with other girls. So if you see a boat out there with two to three women in it and one is a red head, it's probably me and my friends.

I'd be the first volunteer, only to get my wife out with us too. I think the first springer she gets may get her. Last weekend she went with me, bug_flicker and Joni we had a ball and brought a beauty to the boat, of coarse it didn't compare to the 2 beautys we had on board.

David Johnson is one of those brave souls. My wife won a trip on the board with David Johnson, his wife, Jennie, STGrule, and another lady. The trip is coming up in April. My wife can hardly wait.
