Default Anybody troll Kwikfish for Wind springers?

Do any of you troll Kwikfish at the Wind? I've only fished there once, but didn't see any in use. It seems like all anybody uses at the Wind are Warts or Fatfish.

A friend of mine did well two years ago with K13's with a short dropper. Last year he didn't do so well. I think they work okay.

Las year we eused a K-13 some during the day, it was silver with red dots. We never put a weight on it and fished it 40' behind the boat and caught a few with it. We also used a K-13 lighted one early in the morning and late in the evening just before dark and did well with it. It was the one with the clear body, chartruse lip, and green stripes on the side. It worked really well, in fact we caught 5 on that same one down at longview at the end of March last year in the middle of the day. The kwickfish work fine if there is not much wind and you can fish them really slow.

I agree with Lure Dragger..... It's pretty rare when it's calm enough at the Wind to fish 'em effectively, but when the W does lay down, no reason why they shouldn't work well....
