Sturgeon from the bank

Hoping to go look for some gators tomorrow morning, but have no idea where to go. I am unfortunatly confined to the shore because the boat is still in storage, and cant get it out till next weekend. Any suggestions on where to go....

Try fishing from the bank of the lower cowlitz with fresh smelt, or go down towards cathlamet and fish from the guardrail. Abernathy creek produces at times as well.
