3rd week of January is usually the time, Steelhead are few and far between enough as it is, you need to be there when the odd are the best and you can at least see a few from above the bridge passing through, were not there yet. You may enjoy the creek and have it all to yourself right now.

I was there last night with the dog. Creek is WAY high and moving some water. Visibility was less than a foot

Stopped by and threw a jig for the last hour before dark. Was on OFC #2 at the bridge. One 5-6 lb chrome as they get buck on the second cast (maybe third) and not a touch for the next 40 casts after that. Water was good volor and vis, but also really high. Looking at the line of debris on the bank, the water had already dropped a couple feet from the peak this weekend. Should fish well tomrrow, but I dont think there are a whole lot of fish in yet.
