Default downstream boot

i was under the troutdale bridge this morning and saw a pretty spry boot making its way downstream. it got me to thinking: what was that fish? is it a spawned out steelie heading back out to sea? a chinook? a catfish? definitely rather blackish with big white patches.

Default Re: downstream boot

Saw the same thing right below Sellwood bridge as well. Looked to be about 10lbs. Just casually swimming right on the top with fins hangen out of the water.
