I dunno squat about the crabbing there.

The tides should be very close to Tillamook. Within a few minutes.

Hello, I believe there is links to tide websites on I-fish, or pick-up small tide book ( .50 cents) at any sporting goods shop. I love crabbing netarts... no rivers entering bay means no problem w/ to much fresh water in bay after storms. Launch boat at the schooner restaurant... 100 ft. from dock start dropping your pots... 30,40, 50 feet out from road that follows the bay...work towards marina which is about 1/2 mile up the bay. Watch for shallow water as you move away from road, the channel is close to the road not out in the bay! good luck

If I recall correctly last Saturday it seemed like the current changed directions around 2:30pm. I believe Barview high tide was set for 2:10pm.

My wife and I worked six rings for a little under five hours in that channel just off the dock, and got our limit of some very nice sized crab. Chicken worked just fine. (We were still attracking crabs when all that was left were bones with a little bit of skin.)

Bring lots of bait. It goes really quick in Netarts.
