I crabbed from the shore today off of social security beach using a crab snare that I picked up at englund marine for three or four hours and picked up around thirty or forty crab but they were mostly females and all undersize, alot of them were around 1/4 to 1/2 inch short of the min. size. Thats from the bank though mabye all of the big ones are out deeper

Id say there probably thinned pretty well but also the floods last week more than likely displaced alot of them. And the unseasonably warm weather?

Default Hammond Crab

Any one doing any crabbing near Hammond? Is it worth the trip from Keizer or have the
commercial guys cleaned the area out? Any place else being productive? Thanks
