Default Wildsalmon.org

I run across this group called Save Our Wild Salmon and I was wondering if they were a good group. I have never seen anything about these guys, but they have offices all over the northwest and they even have a lobbiest in DC.

So are they a worth while group?

From my limited experience with them, I think they are great!

They helped finance my lobbying trip to Washington DC a few years back and their lobbiest worked with me and showed me the ropes once I got there. They have been strong supporters of NSIA.

Mtn,

And they have great backup info.

They post the Rand Study which shows that restoring the salmon would be a huge economic boon to the NW.

Should be required reading for all state and Federal legislators.

My read is that they are a pretty solid organization. They have the backing of a number of other respected organizations like the Northwest Steelheaders.
