There is always the old stand by. Drift fishing. Or you can dive bait. Sand shrimp or eggs. A medium Brad's diver equvilent to an old Hot N Tot with 2-4 feet of leader. Then just row slowly through the hole. There is a thing called boondogging. I think it is just side drifting. There is also backbouncing. I have never done that before. But, I bet there are people who have on ifish.

Get ready for a work out! Drift fishing is easy. Just float around till ya find some fishy looking water. Park the boat and cast. Running plugs and/or bait with you running the chopsticks takes some practice. You control the offering. Your boat speed and line you choose can make the difference on wether or not you come home with fish or not! Have you run the Clack before in a DB? Can you read water? There are alot of variables.

If you are inexperienced fishing for steelhead, I'd try bobber and jig or bobber and bait fishing.
