Default clackaskunked 1/25

i fished with Airborne (Mike), Gas Jockey (Trent) and Safety Chains (Greg) today on the clack from 7 am -2pm. the company was nice as usual with ifish members. We got nothing, not even a maybe hit. Mostly back trolling, but stopped at a few spots and casted jigs and drifted eggs. Most people had the same luck. We did see Tilla and Fishalot and their crew at the car body hole. They had one when we saw them. they were sidedrifting .

weather was not too bad, but visibility above beaver dam was bad. seems like some people may have read the River ettiquette thread as most everybody was courteous out there. i was reading in the paper that with more broodstock this year we could see later returning hatchery fish.

This is what ifish is all about. I got to fish with bunch of REAL fisherman today thanks to ifish. People that I would have never met unless this board existed. Was alot of fun even though the fish didn't cooperate. Thanks Fishing is Life (James), wouldn't have been possible without your generous offer of the seat. And thanks Safety Chain and Bankbound, your the reel deal.

Until next time,

Trent

It was kinda strange out there today. We waved and smiled at everyone, even the guys watching us "pinball" the boat while extreme sidedrifting.
Anyway we were out there being the goodwill guys. Too bad the Fishing is Life boat disappeared down stream, my plot to toss the banana never happened.
We lost one later that day. But in retrospect it was really slooooow, but better than working.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">Without a doubt! I made alast minute request and Fishing is Life answered the call (along with Kit on the coast). I have had the opportunity to fish with 12 different Ifishers since the first of the year. Everyone a class act I have learned tons and had a fabulous time every trip. Still skunked, but the slots must be getting full and due to pay

Thanks again James, had a great time and thanks to Mike and Trent. We'll do it again (except catch) soon!

Also met Tilla from afar... Tilla, hold a seat for me sometime!

Sorry to hear you guys didn't hook into any. That Clack has got me seriously wondering... any fish in there? Why go there, when the coast is only 1.5 hrs away? ? ? ? I think all them fish are up higher on the river. My $0.02.

I fished Barton to Carver, 3 ifishers couldn't go so I went solo. Went 3 of 4. One chrome native, released safely. I bonked a buck that was bright and a darker hen with good eggs. I needed the eggs. Limited by 9:15am. Fished high water tactics with good eggs. Fished the opposite side of the river that others were fishing on every fish caught.

I saw a few of Ifishers on the way down the river and said hi but couldn't hear the names.

Finally logged on today, I had a time yesterday. The company could'nt have been better. Just another day paying dues to the fish gods! Glad to have a good time with some new IFishers as always a pleasure. Like others said the fish just don't seem to be there , who knows? Could very well be me!
Once again thank you James, you're a first class guy I'd go out with anyday!
"Airborne (mike)" lol, it's ok
