crabbing off a dock in Garibaldi

I have been craving some crab and thought about heading to the coast after work tomorrow or tuesday and crab the incoming. I dont have a boat so i was wondering if anyone has done it off the dock lately and how has it been. I want to bring home something for my effort. I saw that newport wasnt very hot this weekend. I know of one dock in garibaldi but if there are more or some other good spots any help helps. Thanks!

Nehalem has better dock crabbing. Jetty fishery or brighton marina I haven't been in a while but hear its been slow.

tillamook was hot today 2 limets 2 hours lots of sqekers all hard and full

2 hours off the pier in garibaldi produced 0 keepers. Had a few small males and a couple females. Still didnt get my crab fix. Guess i'll have to try again in a few weeks

Garibaldi pier does not usually produce many keepers. At least for me. The best i have done is a whopping 3. But i t is fun. Very peaceful at nite when the crowd leaves, and the tide flattens out.
