Default Newport Crabbing?

Has anyone been crabbing in Yaquina Bay lately?

I was thinking of going out tomorrow, but don't know if all the rain would make it a waste of time.

Any ideas?

I don't know about the Yaquina river, but the Tillamook rivers are not that high right now. The next storm looks like it will be blowing in tonight, with lots of rain tonight and windy tomorrow.

I bet today would be awsome... wish I wasn't at work.

I hope crabbing is fair, but most of all I hope the weather cooperates! I am heading down there for a mini-vacation...

People were catching a few today. We didn't do so hot, with only 2 keepers. We started late and left early. Just enough for dinner. But, talked to a couple that got 14 in about 5 hrs.

I'm guessing you folks got blown out this weekend but would appreciate a report.

Thanks in advance.
