Sturgeon 1/10/04
The ramp was no problem and the fishing was good. Once we found them, we hooked a lot of nice fish and kept two nice fat keepers. Good luck tomorrow..........

Re: Sturgeon 1/10/04
Nice John!
We are going in the morning. We will be in a Hewes Craft Sea Runner in there somewhere. If you are out tomorrow let's fish together. More stink means for fish. We are putting in at the bay again at 8:00 Thanks again for the sturgeon grub. I gave it the sniff test and think I know a couple of things in there. Well I know one for sure

Wish me luck tomorrow...I am taking a couple guys fishing tomorrow that I just posted on the board for open seats...
Were headed to the farm pond ...errr...meat locker in the hopes that these 2 individuals can teach me a lesson in drift fishing...

Re: Sturgeon 1/10/04
Have i ever told you about a nasty habit I have...
No ******, it's not the one where I pass gas and lock the windows on the truck
No it's not the one where I scratch or pick certain areas in public...
No, the one I am talking about is where I collect pictures of places where I'd like to fish
Hmmm... you know I notice things...

Re: Sturgeon 1/10/04
Well we were part of the few who braved the ramp, and the cold. What a great day to be out, no wind, and lots of fish. We caught more shakers than we could count, all in the 38-41" range. Four keepers, two of which are shown below. The first one is mine, only a 43" that I didn't want to keep, but it was bleeding heavily so we took him home. The second is fellow Ifish member Kevray with his nice fat 47".
Looks like we would not have won the baton this day!
Good luck everyone, and be safe.
Scott
