Default Fly rod kings of Western Alaska.. (PICS)

Here are some pictures of just a few of many fish that where caught on two different rivers that run into the lower Kuskokwim River in Western Alaska. Most of these fish enter these rivers watermarked, but we where well below the spawning habitat and most of the fish where on the move.

Slideshow; or if that doesn't work try the other link.

Still pictures;

Oh yeah, almost forgot they where all caught on fly's. Well, one fly in particular but I will save that for another thread.

Beautiful fish. Nice color. They almost look like coho. They must have been terrific on a fly rod. Any bears to keep you company? It looks like good bear country.

Coho, any bears that shed there fur around humans in that country end up on a dinner plater. Although, in the headwater of these water shed, they make quite a presence.

Dude your the bomb

Man.... I love the photo proof.

I finally got the pics up from your other posting. That's funny how when you fish some of these rivers up here we can be prone to releasing 40-50 pound fish. Nothing like snappin' a photo and moving on. :tongue:

I look forward to the growing trend of catch and release. Keep them photos coming. :grin:
