Re: Ready, Set, OKUMA Epixor Spinning Reel!
A weakfish is an estuarine fish on the east coast, some call it seatrout. Related to the drums -- red drum (redfish, of famous "blackened redfish" cajun dish), black drum, spot, etc. I think there are silver, gray, and spotted weakfish varieties. The spotted we used to call spotted or speckled seatrout.

Big tule, they went to a boneless-brown broodstock to protect the run. I heard the specks were an inferior species and many were found floating

Ready, Set, OKUMA Epixor Spinning Reel!
I've been lucky on ifish this year, having won an exceptionally nice casting rod at ifishstock and an awesome Okuma Inspira spinning reel in a previous Ready Set contest. I already owned an Okuma Epixor reel and very impressed with them. So, having won the Okuma Epixor on the Xmas Party contest, I'm letting somebody else have a chance to see what awesome reels they are.
OK, here's the contest. It's actually 2 multi part questions so read closely before you run off to www.okumafishing.com for the answers!
First Question (multi answer)
Looking at both the Epixor models (Epixor and Epixor EB) how many different models do they offer between the two. You'll need to look at both models and add them all up! ALSO - of the total, how many are rear drag, and how many are high speed?
Second Question (also multi part) - On their News and Reviews page -
On Russ and Hunter's testimonial, last Spring and Fall, how many Striped Bass did Russ catch using an Epixor reel, AND how many Bluefish and Weakfish did his son Hunter catch on the same reel?
Last but not least, here is Jennie's standard disclaimer:
Be the first back to this thread, to answer the question, correctly.
If you have won in the last month, please give someone else a chance.
If I screw up, I can't be held responsible for giving out multiple prizes,
OK?
Any edited answers are disqualified.
Only one guess per person.
You must send me your mailing address, if you win, within two hours, so
that I don't get all mixed up with contests! If you do not, I will give the
prize to the next person in line.
Please put the item you won in the e mail header!
It's noon time, so those of you at work should be able to do this on your lunch break and not get in hot water over it.....right? GOOD LUCK!

Last spring and fall, I caught over 400 striped bass on one of your Epixor reels. Last week my 8-year-old son, Hunter caught 150 bluefish and 8 weakfish up to 12lbs on the same reel.

Re: Ready, Set, OKUMA Epixor Spinning Reel!
Jeep, You no doubt had the right intent, I think everybody would have to agree with that! First and foremost, you were first back with the answer. It could probably be argued that most answers were not "technically perfect" but all had the right intent and you were first. So, congrats!
OK, so now.....read the disclaimer and get your info to Jennie....Merry Xmas and congrats on your first born.

Re: Ready, Set, OKUMA Epixor Spinning Reel!
Guess I'm a about ten minutes too late.
But, technically speaking, the entire line of Expior EB's have duel drag (front and rear) so that means:
11 Epixor models
2 with rear drag
5 Epixor EB models, all with front AND rear drag
That makes 7 rear drags.
Russ caught 400 stripers and son Hunter caught 150 blues and 8 Weakfish.
Now, what's a weekfish?
