Our Bi-mart has it, but that is because we have a really good guy that orders the fishing stuff and is very knowledgable about what the local fishing population wants! Yes, you know who you are...thanks for taking care of us!

SC,OR Anyone who uses yellow power pro orYellow tuffline xp. How long of leader do you use with the yellow power pro? When drift fishing or side drifting? I just got some tuffline xp in yellow. I could not find the power pro in yellow. Thanks in advance......Ross

I usually use 8 ft of 12 or 15 lbs. Max. UG or the next size up from your teminal leader. ie. 12 lb bumper 10 lb leader.

To Quick Fisher. I use yellow tuffline xp but use 10 feet of the non-yellow (green?) tuff or power pro as the bumper. Then a swivel, then 2-3 feet of UG 10# or 12# leader. I don't think the yellow spooks the fish, but this method makes me less paranoid.

When I use hi vis line I don't use a leader any longer than what I would with regular mono.

I have found that the yellow coating does come off over time so I've switch back to just the solid white Power Pro.

David, Does the white line spook the fish in clear water? I know you catch alot of fish, so it must not. Do you use mono any more for steelhead main line, what pound test do you prefer ? Any info is greatly Appreciated........Ross

If yea are worried re the white line spooking fish, use a brown sharpie to color the first 5 or 6 feet of line, I used this teqneque (sp) on some 8 lb Maxima fireglow some years back and waylayed a 13 lb. native buck with my noodle rod and a # 2 brass spinner ( homegrown ). 'Twas on the Wilson at mm 23.
I recently applied the brown to power pro and it's still on there after 2 or 3 trips, I've even tied on a few feet of Maxima cameleon as a shock / cushion. ( Me thinks " shock" may not be the proper description as I have seen a larger pound test mono refered to a shock leader in reference to ocean gamefishing)
