Default Three rivers silver sides

my son and I went to three rivers this morning and got into a couple of fish. We were fishing just down below the "s" curves on the straight away. we were using a pink spin glo and a pink corkie size 10. My son hooked two but only got 1 of them but what a gorgeous fish, sorry no pics maybe next time.

About 30 minutes before nightfall I'd hit that stretch just up from the guard rail/paking lot right down form the S curves. People would be running there gear across the run. As the people dispersed I'd make my move. Tight to your feet you can barely see the fish moving due to light conditions, but they then move right smack at your feet. I'd slap a small spin 'n' glo on watermelon to exact with black wings. I loved it!

Fifteen pound test help pull them back up from that fast water just below.

SliverSlinger~

I think I saw you and ur son. We parked around the 'S' curves in a black Toyota 4X4. We were fishing that same area and had some decent luck. The I went 1 for 2 and my buddy went 1 for 1. So the fish are starting to slither in.

Two days ago, I hooked and landed a BRIGHT CHROME  Chinook in that same stretch of water. Had sea-lice on it still, and everything. We thought it was a large steelhead at first, but when i landed it, was the chromest 'nook i've ever landed...and that far upriver, too!

good luck to all, rivers aren't looking too great the next couple days. Find a good river that drains quickly.

later!
