LureDragger Takes First at McNary 1/10
Just spoke to my buddy Leo at McNary and as it is this time of year, there are many SH Derby's...
After taking 2nd on the New Years Day Derby, he took first today with a 14+ pound MetalHead...
He said they just handed him the cash because it wasn't close...
Man Leo, more money to buy more wiggle warts...
Congrats my friend...

Re: LureDragger Takes First at McNary 1/10
Just got home. I ended up hooking 5, landed 4 and had one other take down. When I got back home I measured the fish, it was a nice 36" hen. The $450 will buy a lot more wiggle warts.

Re: LureDragger Takes First at McNary 1/10
Nope, I am already shopping for wiggle warts. The one I was using today was the only one of them I had. I will be buying a dozen of them tomorrow night. I have to get to bed, I will be back on the river in the morning. Looks like I may be lost in the fog all day tomorrow.

Re: LureDragger Takes First at McNary 1/10
Brandon, I didn't stop buy ranch and home tonight. I will be stopping by tomorrow night though and buying all the have.
Chromer, I don't know exactly what color you would call it. It is one of the newer storm wiggle warts, I had never seen one so I bought it. It is Flor. blue, black stripes, silver sides, and white belly. With a few modifications.

Re: LureDragger Takes First at McNary 1/10
Steelie King, The water was still very cold. In fact early in the morning there were very thin sheets of ice floating around. Ask the guy that was trying to net a fish on friday how cold the water is, he fell in trying to net his wifes fish.
As for the color of the lure, it actually looks pretty good in the water. I have always had pretty good luck for salmon and steelhead with anything blue. As long as we don't get lost in the fog I am expecting another good day on the river today.
