I have been contacted about placing a live webcam on one of the fish counting windows. The idea is to have static pictures 24/7 that refresh every 30 seconds to 1 minute or so. Viewing the pictures would be free. You would just have to access the website.

You could even program them into several software programs like
WebtoWall and the pictures will automatically reload.
Anyway, I have permission from the overseeing organization(s). They are even willing to provide the wiring and hosting if necessary.
What is needed is the hardware. I have found some cameras anywhere from $29.99 to $1,000+. While I would like to be philanthropic on this, the decent ones are not in my budget. I would prefer one that is IP Addressable and would not require hosting but just a router to access. (Still need to find out if they can provide router)
Does anyone have access to a good camera that can be donated or are you willing to contribute to the purchase of a camera? Maybe if we raise the money (somewhere between $250-$500) here on ifish, I could put in a tag "webcam courtesy of iFish"
I know this topic has come up before and there was marginal interest based on replies to those threads. But now that it will be a reality if the is truly enough interest.
Wouldn't you like to be able to see that first springer?
