Sturgeon this weekend
We are heading out both days this weekend. Out of Caterpiller Island.
Any one else heading out? I have fished all week and have caught more little guys than I think I have ever seen in the past few years. Holiday leave is gone and it's back to the salt mine next week.

Re: Sturgeon this weekend
Doing the Steelhead Challenge on Saturday, but on Sunday, we are taking a couple of sturgeon virgins out. Going to try Horsetail Falls, but if the wind is too strong, we will probably be somewhere between T-6 and Frenchmens Bar as our back up plan.

Re: Sturgeon this weekend
Caterpillar Island is just downriver from Frenchman's Bar on the Washington side of the river. There is a small boat ramp there with (what I have heard) is a narrow channel to the main river.

Here is a link to Washington Area Boat Launches. #10 on the Clark County Map.

Re: Sturgeon this weekend
Dipnet.
I see your from out of town. Sorry. If you need a better route, I can walk you thru from I-5 N.
Take the 4th plain ex. Left at the light, top of the Ex. . just go down the road. Past main st, up and over the RR tracks. down the road a few miles the road will Y, you want to follow it to your left.( Vancouver Lake Pk is to the right.)
a few more miles. your there.
