Default Matt Hunter - update the clamming please

For those that maybe don't know, the entire
Oregon coast is closed to clamming. that is an extension of the original closure.
Perhaps Matt could come in with his wisdom and tell us about the last testing that Oregon has done. Has the level dropped? Are there any predictions about how much longer this
might prevail? Any good news from the experts?

I don't know about Oregon but here is a post a buddy of mine made on another web site.

Well,

I just talked with my contact at WF&G and the Domoic Acid level is down to 83 ppm. Was up at 113 ppm at one time. BUT the health department won’t open up the beaches until it’s below 20 ppm.

They figure there might be a Razor dig maybe the middle of FEB. if it keep dropping at the present rate.

And No!! I don't consider it sluming around!
